Itinerary

DAY 1: Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv

Arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport. Assistance by our representative and transfer to Tel Aviv. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv.

DAY 2: Tel Aviv / Caesarea / Haifa / Galilee

After breakfast, we will leave for a brief sightseeing tour of the city of Tel Aviv and Jaffa, highlighting the neighborhood of artists and the Church of St. Peter in Jaffa. We will continue to Maritime Caesarea, by Sharon Valley, to visit the ancient Roman Theatre, the Crusades ruins and the Roman aqueduct. After, we will continue to Haifa, located on Mount Carmel. View of the Bahai gardens and the Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery. After enjoying the view from the hill, we will continue through the Western Galilee to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.

DAY 3: Tiberias / Nazareth / Galilee

Breakfast at the hotel. Exit to the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. Then we will pay a visit to Tabgha, where the multiplication of loaves and fishes occurred. Boat trip on Lake Tiberias, continued to Capernaum to visit the old synagogue, as well as the new Franciscan church. Afternoon visit to Nazareth, including the Basilica of the Annunciation, the Fountain of Mary and Carpentry of St. Joseph. Back at the hotel, visit to Cana of Galilee, where we celebrate the miracle of Canaan Wedding. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.

DAY 4: Jerash / Madaba / Mount Nebo / Petra

Breakfast at hotel and departure to the border Sheich Hussein. After the border formalities we will continue to Jerash, one of the cities of the confederation of the former Decapolis. Visit the ancient Roman town, the theater, the Cardo with its columns and the Arc de Triumph Adriano. We will go to Madaba, ancient Byzantine city and the Orthodox monastery with its famous mosaic of the Holy Land. We will continue toward Mount Nebo where Patriarch Moses had the last vision of the Promised Land. From there we will see the Jordan Valley, Jericho, the Dead Sea and the mountains of Samaria and Judea. We continue to Wadi Moussa outskirts of the city of Petra, capital of Nabataeans since the fourth century BC for dinner and overnight in Petra.

DAY 5: Petra / Amman

Breakfast at the hotel. Out early in the morning to explore the Red City of Petra. Petra was founded by the Nabataeans in the years 300AC and keeps until this day the secrets in its mountains and sculptures on the pink rocks of sandstone. We will cross Petra through the Siq narrow riding between high walls of the mountains. Visit to El Khazneh, the tomb of King Nabataean visit to the Obelisk, the makeup of the tombs, the theater and the most beautiful works of Petra. We will go to Amman, the Jordanian capital. Sightseeing tour of the city will follow. At the end of the day we will have dinner and stay overnight in Amman.

DAY 6: Amman / Jerusalem

After breakfast at the hotel we will go to the border Alenby. After the formalities of the border will follow through Jericho, the oldest city in the world to the triumphant arrival in Jerusalem, stopping to have a beautiful view of old Jerusalem on the Mount of Olives. We visit the garden of Gethsemane with its age-old olive trees, and the Basilica of all Nations. Arrival at the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: Jerusalem / Bethlehem

After breakfast at the hotel we visit the Western Wall. View of the Temple Mount. We follow through the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We visit Mount Zion, the Abbey of the Dormition, the Tomb of King David, and the Cenacle (the Last Supper room). Afternoon visit in Bethlehem church of the Nativity which marks the birth of Jesus; the church of Santa Catalina, and appreciate the view of the Shepherds Field. Return at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 8: Jerusalem / New Town / Ein Karem

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a panoramic view of the City of New Jerusalem, which includes the parliament (Knesset), and the Menorah. Visit to the Holocaust Museum (Yad Vashem) and visit the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum, which exhibits the Dead Sea Scrolls and model of the City of Jerusalem in Jesus’ time. Then we continue to Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptist. Back at the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9: Desert of Judea / Qumran / Dead Sea / Massada

Departure from the hotel after breakfast there, through the Judean desert. We will see the inn of the Good Samaritan, according to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest place in the world. We visit Masada, the last Jewish stronghold that resisted the Roman conquest. (There will be time to bathe in the waters of the Dead Sea, considered medicinal waters). Back at the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

DAY 10: Ben Gurion Airport

Breakfast at the hotel. According to your booked return flight you will be transferred to the International airport of Ben Gurion.
